Andreas Ekström focuses on the online world, media, and digital equality as a journalist and author.

Having written a total of nine books, Andreas is a household name in his native Sweden, where he is a regular guest in all sorts of media, commentating and contributing to the public debate on humanistic tech issues. Although not a programmer or engineer (although, he says, he does look a bit like one), in the national bestseller ”The Google Code”, Andreas took a look at the search giant and what it means for society. His talk “Seven Ways to Own the World” has been presented all around the world. His latest talk is named ”Organic Intelligence”, and is at the same time a mind-blowing exposé of the battles of digital revolution and a call to the world for digital democracy in the artificial intelligence era. His book ”On Finding” is available in English, and has received massive praise.

His journalistic approach, combined with his dynamic deliver has made Andreas one of Europe’s most sought-after futurists. As well as helping organizations to understand how the digital revolution transforms society, he offers an insight of the tech world from a truly human perspective. He has been a TED speaker, with close to two million viewers, has won several awards, has spoken in just over 30 countries and has been translated to over 30 languages. He won the Swedish ”Speaker of the year” award in 2019.

Dr. Son Do Lenh is currently Head of Experience, Wealth Management Technologies at a prestigious Swiss private bank. Weaving a distinguished academic background with industry experience on a global scale, he is an award-winning innovator and has been at the forefront of innovation and digital transformation for nearly two decades.

Son obtained his PhD from EPFL, Switzerland, accompanied by research projects at Harvard Initiative in Innovative Computing. His expansive industry journey features accomplishments across sectors such as banking, shipping, data, education and consulting. He empowers enterprises to shape the strategy and execution of all transformation-related activities, encompassing business and operating models, agile culture, technologies and digital experience, impacting workforces that span from dozens to over 100,000 employees.

Most recently, Son spearheaded a strategic transformation program for a leading Swiss private bank. The mission was to rethink and rebuild its portfolio management platform, one of the most sophisticated in the industry and also offered to 10 other banking and financial groups across the globe.

His advisory footprint has extended globally, including work with one of the world’s largest shipping companies, where he devised strategies across 20 transformation projects to streamline employee and customer experience in 155 countries. Son also led a digital product team for a startup, playing a pivotal role in its place among the Top-100 Hot Startups worldwide in 2012, an accolade further endorsed by Gartner’s inclusion in the Cool Vendors category.

Son is a recipient of a multitude of prestigious awards and scholarships for innovation and excellence. He received 3 Scientific Awards, including 1 STELLAR Distinct Award and 1 Best Demo Award, a testament to his prowess in inventing cutting-edge technologies in applied settings. The esteemed EUROCONTROL, European Organization for Safety of Air Navigation offered an invitation for him to conduct research at its Innovative Research unit. He was also a winner of more than 10 other awards, research contests and scholarships, including from the Swiss and Vietnamese government. He led or contributed to inventions showcased at renowned venues such as the Asia Pacific ICT Awards, Harvard Museum of Natural History, and MoMA – Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Ben Burrowes is the Regional Director, Asia (excluding China) of Education New Zealand Manapou ki te Ao. Ben is responsible for leading an international team across Asia to deliver the business strategy for Education New Zealand (ENZ), focussed on profiling New Zealand as an education partner and ensuring international education contributes to New Zealand’s international relations goals. Prior to joining ENZ in 2017, Ben worked in the public relations sector, supporting a range of New Zealand brands and Government agencies with their strategic communications and business development programs across Asia. He has been based in Singapore since 2008, living with his wife Callie and their five young children.

Johan has been living and working in Vietnam since 1998 and was the CEO of HSC Securities for 13 years from 2007. Johan handed over his CEO responsibilities in April 2020 and has been a member of HSC’s Board of Directors. HSC is one of Vietnam’s top investment banking and securities brokerage firms which has been established since 2003. HSC’s most significant institutional investors include Dragon Capital (UK). In addition to HSC, Johan currently also holds other board positions at public and private companies.

Before HSC, Johan spent nine years with HSBC in various management positions in commercial and corporate banking in Vietnam. Johan began his banking career in the US where he spent eight years specializing in international banking with responsibilities for the Southeast Asia markets.

In addition to his board responsibilities, Johan is also involved in the business community as a Vice Chairman of the CEO Club of Ho Chi Minh City, a member of the Board of Advisors to Forbes Vietnam, a Vice Chairperson at the Vietnam Association of Securities Businesses (VASB), a director of the Vietnam Association of Financial Investors (VAFI). In the past he was also a member of the Board of Advisors to the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HSX), a chairperson for the financial sector at the Vietnam Private Economic Forum and at one point a Board governor of the American Chamber of Commerce (Amcham) Hanoi Chapter in Vietnam.

Andrea Campagnoli is the founding partner of Bain Vietnam, a leader of Bain’s Private Equity practice and Financial Services practice in Southeast Asia.
He has more than 14 years of management consulting experience at Bain, advising clients in the technology fintech and banking sectors first in EMEA and then in Southeast Asia since 2018. Andrea has deep expertise in M&A advisory, due diligence, and strategy in Technology and Financial Services, having advised investors and senior executives globally.
Earlier in his career, Andrea spent two years as an investment professional at a European buyout fund focused on the financial services sector.
Andrea holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi.

Mr. Brook Colin Taylor has over 30 years of finance and management experience, including 23 years in Vietnam. Before joining VinaCapital, Mr. Brook was Deputy Managing Partner of Deloitte Vietnam and head of the firm’s audit practice. He was also Managing Partner of Arthur Andersen Vietnam and a senior audit partner at KPMG. Mr. Taylor has expertise spanning strategic planning, auditing, risk management, human resources, corporate finance and general management. Within VinaCapital, Brook leads the Asset Management Business spanning all areas of investment management, fundraising and operations for international and local clients. He has a Bachelor in Commerce and Administration from Victoria University of Wellington, and an Executive MBA, with distinction, from INSEAD. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Mr. Le Tri Thong is currently Vice Chairman and CEO of PNJ. Mr. Thong is known as a prestigious leader with a solid professional background in management, sharpness in strategic vision, and strong management and business reform capabilities.

He has extensive knowledge and experience in different fields of Vietnam market and Southeast Asia after many years of experience at senior management positions of top companies such as The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Prudential (UK), PNJ

During the period 2013-2017, Mr. Thong was the Founding Partner and Deputy CEO of The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Vietnam. He established strategy for BCG to penetrate the Vietnamese market and helped BCG become a strategic consulting partner for a series of government projects, leading corporations in many fields such as banking, insurance, oil and gas, energy, telecommunications, consumer, real estate, etc.

In addition to being a senior corporate manager, he is also an experienced private equity investor (PE) and venture capitalist (VC) with a portfolio of international and Vietnamese companies and startups, focusing on the areas of deep technology (deep-tech), financial technology (fintech), new materials technology, applied information technology, etc.

He is also an enthusiastic and active member in social activities and the business community with many awards and titles. He has just been honored Top 10 Best Young Entrepreneurs in Vietnam 2019 – “Giai thuong Sao Do” or Red Star Award

Mr. Le Tri Thong received his MBA from Oxford University (UK), graduating with Distinction. He is an engineer of chemical technology in training – summa cum laude at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City.

Ms. Lien oversees managing activities relating to talent development, culture and working environment at AIA Vietnam, with the objective of making AIA Vietnam one of the best places to work. Accordingly, she is responsible for recruitment, training, talent development, and staff welfare at AIA Vietnam. With more than 15 years of experience in senior management across various fields, she has built an aspirational and creative working culture for AIA Vietnam.

She holds Master Degree in Commerce and Human Resource Management from Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia.

After pursuing a Master’s Degree in Educational Management in Australia, Ms. Trinh Mai Phuong came back to Vietnam and accelerated her career in Human Resources Management. She has 18 years of deep experience in both strategic, expertise and generalist roles for large FMCG companies, in diverse areas of expertise including: learning, talent and leadership development, HR business partnering, strategic HR planning and management.

Having a strong passion for lifelong learning, she strives for continuously innovating HR practices to enable the workforce to adopt agile learning, get prepared for the future and create more values to self and others. Abhishek has more than 22 years of experience in the field of Human Resources across diverse industries and geographies. His industry exposure includes, but is not limited to – Automotive, HR Consulting, Financial Services, IT & Business Process Outsourcing, Pharmaceuticals, Medical & Consumer Goods, Real Estate & Workplace Design, Consumer Internet Technology, Mobile Gaming, and Fintech. Abhishek has been in HR Leadership roles for more than a decade and has demonstrated expertise in the areas of talent acquisition, talent & leadership development, performance management, succession planning, coaching and management of change. Abhishek is a postgraduate in management with a specialization in HR from Symbiosis University Pune(India), and he holds an executive Masters degree in change, consulting and coaching from INSEAD(France/Singapore). He is also an ACC-certified coach from ICF.

In his last corporate role, he was the VP – HR and Chief People Officer for VNG, the largest Internet technology company in Vietnam, and one of the first tech unicorns in SEA. As part of the role, he was responsible for the people operations for 4500 employees across Vietnam and SEA.

Abhishek has built and led teams to deliver HR services to business units and client groups. This responsibility included the scaling up of operations across geographies – such as for the game entertainment business in SEA for VNG; design studios across APAC for Space Matrix; as well as businesses for different client groups in GE Capital/Genpact. In all these strategic roles, Abhishek has provided thought leadership and demonstrated expertise by creating sustainable leadership and talent pipelines through succession planning and clear capability development plans for identified high-potential successors.

At Space Matrix as well as Johnson & Johnson ANZ, Abhishek supported M&A initiatives of the business. He successfully led due diligence and helped with the post-acquisition integration of companies in China and Australia.

With a wide range of experience in human resources management spanning ~ 20 years in both end-market and regional HR leadership roles, Alexis specializes in Talent Management & Development, Organizational Development and HR Business Partnering.

She is currently Chief People Officer at Home Credit Vietnam. Prior to this, she was Chief Human Resources Officer at Techcombank for 5 years and then Chief Human Resources Officer at One Mount Group for 2 years, and together with the HR team had built both Techcombank and One Mount Group to stand among Vietnam’s Best Places to Work in banking, financial services and technology & digital industries.

Before joining Techcombank in 2015, Alexis was Regional Head of Talent and Organizational Development for British American Tobacco (BAT) Asia-Pacific. Before that, she was Head of HR, Vietnam Cluster leading HR for BAT Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines and Myanmar. With experiences working in both MNCs and local organizations alike and industry exposures ranging from FMCG, Banking & Financial Services and High Tech & Digital, Alexis is well-versed with the opportunities and challenges in different types of organizations, and is known for her abilities to design and execute practical and relevant solutions that add values to the organizations she works with.

Alexis graduated from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2003 with a Bachelor of Business Management. She was consistently on the Dean’s List, and as the top student of her cohort, earned First Class Honours upon graduation.

An Bui is the Head of Business Marketing at TikTok in Vietnam, helping advertisers to harness the power of TikTok as they grow their business. Prior to being one of the first employees in TikTok Vietnam, he worked as a Product Marketing Manager in Garena. An holds a B.A in International Finance from Foreign Trade University. Beyond his first loves of marketing and technology, he also enjoys travelling, photography, and different types of sports, including fitness.
